Classes
Beginning Stained Glass Panel - Students will construct a 12” x 14” copper foil panel. Choose from approximately 50 specific patterns. Cost of tools and supplies averages $400. and is spread over the course of the class. Completion of weekly homework is required. Class fee is $90 and classes run for six (6) weeks.

Intermediate Stained Glass - Here’s your chance to work on anything under the sun: mosaics, lead came, boxes and other 3-D projects. This class is for students with stained glass experience wishing to work on more advanced projects at their own pace. This is a self-directed class to work independently with help and guidance as needed. Class fee is $85 and classes run for five (5) weeks.

  Day Thursday, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Instructor: Donna Sessions: 04/08
Lead - In this class you will have several patterns to choose from to learn the lead technique. This process is used for doors, windows and large panels. Completion of weekly homework is required. Class fee is $85 and classes run for five (5) weeks.

Mosaics - You’ve asked for it! Here it is! Use all those glass scraps you’ve been saving! You can mosaic just about anything. You can make a six paned mosaic window in this class. Window is included in class fee. Come in and look at samples. Class fee is $85 and classes run for five (5) weeks.

Fusing - In this class, you can make bowls, plates, jewelry, and more! This is the perfect chance for you to experiment with frits, stringers, and Dichroic glass. Students will be limited to firing two (2) items or two 9" paper plates of jewelry per class. Class fee is $125 and classes run for five (5) weeks.

Workshops
Soldering Skills Class – Hate to solder? This class will help your soldering! Learn about solders, fluxes etc. to help to improve your soldering! Also learn the tricks & tips for decorative soldering. Soldering practice board will need to be purchased for this class. This class fills quickly so don’t wait!

Glass Beads – Learn to make beads using a torch and glass rods! This popular class is a lot of fun! Practice makes beautiful beads! Class fee includes all supplies!
 
      Saturday, 03/06 10:30-3:30 pm Fee: $75
Abstract Panels – This multiple session class will produce a beautiful panel made by suing assorted glass, found objects and wire. We also use beautiful beads to embellish! Step out of your comfort zone – these are really show stoppers!
 
      Wednesdays, 05/12, 05/19 & 05/26 7:00-9:00 pm Fee: $40
Fused Mosaics – Make components for a mosaic frame or mirror! Add new dimension to your mosaic work! Great way to add detail!
 
      Tuesdays, 05/11 & 05/18 7:00-9:00 pm Fee: $30
Boxes, Boxes, Boxes – Learn to make beautiful embellished boxes! These make terrific gifts for that someone special! Jeanne will teach all the tricks!
 
      Saturday, 03/13 10:30-4:30 pm Fee: $40
Kiln Class – Have a kiln? Don’t know how to use it? This class covers basic kiln firing information. Learn about firing schedules, kiln safety etc. Please bring a notebook, your kiln information and instruction manual. Save $ by not having so many screw ups!
 
      Sunday, 03/07 12:30-2:30 pm Fee: $25
Lamps, Lanterns & Boxes – Learn the tricks and tips for making 3-D projects. Make that special project for an early holiday gift!
 
      Thursdays, 05/13, 05/20 & 05/27 10:30-12:30 pm Fee: $40
HOT, HOT, HOT – Use the torch to make unique components for your fused glass projects! Twist stringers and manipulate glass into one of a kind shapes. We provide the torch setups. You bring your glass and imagination. This is a great way to make some cool STUFF for your summer fusing projects.
 
      Thursdays, 05/27 & 06/03 7:00-9:00 pm Fee: $30
Creative Women’s Nite Out – Grab your friends, coworkers, family, etc. for a fun night of fusing! You’ll each make different projects depending on the night you choose! Bring a snack to share and join the fun. No glass experience needed.
 
      Friday, 03/06 – Make 4 coasters or tiles to use
as you desire! Also jewelry!		 5:00-8:00 pm Fee: $25
 
      Friday, 03/19 – Make a great wall mirror for your bathroom, bedroom, etc! These also make a
great gift!		 6:00-9:00 pm Fee: $25

Our Class and Workshop Policies

  • Class fees must be paid in advance to reserve a space in a class or workshop and are not refundable or transferable.
  • Unless otherwise noted, materials and supplies are not included in class fees and are the responsibility of the student.
  • Students are required to have glass grinders for use outside of class.
  • Pregnant women and nursing mothers should consult their physicians prior to enrolling in a class or workshop.
  • Please no perfume or cologne in classes and workshops as many people are allergic. Thank you for your understanding.
